It's that time of year again – we're celebrating the 10th annual Leslieville Tree Festival in Leslie Grove Park, showcasing environmentally-friendly businesses, local artists and organizations that are helping to green Toronto-Danforth.
For its 10-year anniversary, the festival will host performances by iconic folk group Tamarack, Zero Gravity Circus and Sugar Hoops.
There will be a ceremonial tree planting, children’s activities, free bike tune-ups by Ward 30 Bikes and much more! Residents can also sign up to purchase trees and shrubs for their backyards or sign up for a free front yard tree at LEAF’s table.
Over 30 local businesses and environmental organizations will be hosting booths at the festival. Local business vendors will include Baby on the Hip, Trunk to Tail, Jennifer Rong one-of-a-kind jewelry, and Stray and Linger. The Ontario Woodcarvers Association will be on hand with demonstrations and activities.

"It's great to be hosting the Leslieville Tree Festival on its tenth anniversary," says City Councillor Paula Fletcher. "Ward 30 is a very environmentally conscious community and the Festival is a great chance to learn about how every resident can support a more sustainable city."
"The Leslieville Tree Festival is always a wonderful community event that raises awareness about LEAF and the importance of a healthy tree canopy. We're delighted to be celebrating a decade in Leslie Grove Park for this family friendly event." says Janet McKay, Executive Director of LEAF.
The Leslieville Tree Festival is supported by Toronto Hydro and organized by LEAF in collaboration with Councillor Paula Fletcher, and Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation.
