Calling all Toronto youth (Ages 18-29)!
Are you passionate about the environment and gaining leadership skills while having a positive impact in your community? Sign up to learn about the Young Urban Forest Leaders (YUFL) Program. This unique, free, online and in-person training program will help you build skills in arboriculture, urban forestry and community engagement while working alongside other passionate young leaders!
The program seeks to support Toronto youth from underrecognized groups within these fields, including (but not limited to) women, non-binary people, Indigenous peoples, newcomers, 2SLGBTQ+ persons and racialized individuals.
This information session will explain what to expect as a participant of the YUFL program, how to apply and much more.
Registrants will be provided a Zoom Meeting link to access the information session.
The event will be delivered online and can be accessed through a web browser or an electronic device with the Zoom app. Internet access is required. For accessibility questions, please contact Natasha Jovanovic, Natasha[at]yourleaf.org.
Funded in part by the City of Toronto's Urban Forestry Grants and Incentives Program.
