Calling all Toronto youth! (Ages 18-29)

Join us to learn about the Young Ravine Leaders (YRL) Program! This information session will explain what to expect as a participant of the YRL program and how to apply.

About the YRL Program

This unique, free educational and training program will provide knowledge and skills in ravine ecology, urban forestry and environmental stewardship. The hybrid program will offer both online and in-person activities.

The YRL Program is designed to provide an in-depth overview of Toronto’s ravines, community stewardship and career development to youth (ages 18 to 29) who are exploring opportunities in the environmental field. The program is accessible to all educational backgrounds. Experience in the environmental field is not required.

The program seeks to support Toronto youth from Neighbourhood Improvement Areas (NIAs) and/or underrepresented groups within ravine ecology, urban forestry and environmental stewardship including (but not limited to) women, non-binary people, Indigenous peoples, newcomers, 2SLGBTQ+ persons and racialized individuals.
