Calling all community leaders interested in helping Toronto’s urban forest!

Are you passionate about helping trees thrive in your neighbourhood? Interested in having some help engaging the community in your tree initiative?

LEAF is seeking community partners to collaborate with our Young Urban Forest Leaders (YUFL) program. With guidance from LEAF, the YUFL participants will work closely with local communities over the five-month program period to:

  • Engage the local community through outreach activities and events
  • Plant native trees through special planting incentives and distribute native shrubs through event giveaways
  • Provide care to existing trees through stewardship initiatives
  • Educate about #BackyardBiodiversity and how planting native can help urban wildlife
