Calling all tree-lovers! Join us for a family-friendly afternoon of planting native trees and shrubs in Oshawa. Dig into some fun and help grow the urban forest!
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Planting event will take place from 1:00 p.m – 3:00 p.m.
Please wear:
• Closed-toe shoes or boots – no sandals, please!
• Gardening gloves, if you have them (we will have extras)
• Appropriate clothing – the event runs rain or shine
Please bring multiple filled water bottles (there will be no water refill station on site).
Registration is required and closes Thursday, October 20 11:59 p.m. No day of/walk-in sign ups.
This event will involve walking on unpaved paths and uneven grassy surfaces. For accessibility questions, please contact sarah[at]yourleaf.org.
Our community events put health and safety first. We ensure all local COVID-19 safety guidelines are met and may put in place additional measures to best protect our community members. As public health guidelines can sometimes change, our staff will provide attendees with safety details closer to the event date.
